Messy Church

On Sunday 20 January 2019 we celebrated seven years' of Messy Church. The service, which takes place on the third Sunday of every month, is based at Trinity Church in Royton but is a Circuit activity. Led by Viv and Dave Mycock, a team of volunteers from across the Circuit enable this important work of mission to take place. The Superintendent Minister, the Rev Dr Adrian Burdon, said that it is awesome that this work has continued for the past seven years and we look forward to its continuing for many years to come. Crucial to the mission of the Shaw and Royton Circuit, this church service enables our engagement with children and young families. We give thanks for all who commit their time and energy to making this service happen month by month,

If you would like to come along to the next Messy Church then please do so. Be assured that a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. We always meet at 4pm on the Third Sunday of every month in Trinity Methodist Church, Radcliffe Street, Royton. The format of the afternoon is that we engage with craft activities related to a theme, followed by a very short act of worship which is especially suitable for little ones, followed by a meal.

Give us a try and just turn up and meet some new friends.
