Remembrance

The Methodist Superintendent Minister, the Rev Dr Adrian Burdon, delivered the address at the annual Remembrance Day parade in Shaw on 11 November 2018.

The Superintendent was joined by Rev Katy, Vicar of Holy Trinity, and Major Tinsley of the Salvation Army, in leading the town's remembrance day service. It is estimated that over 2000 people gather in the centre of Shaw for the event which brought all sections of the community together.
